Trustix Content Filtering features intelligent file extension filtering. Administrators can specify that listed file types such as .avi , .exe , .Mp3 , .mpeg and .zip cannot be downloaded by users. By analyzing the contents of files, Trustix CF can detect these types of files even if they have been renamed. This feature distinguishes Trustix Content Filtering from other filtering systems, it is able to perform the feature because it also analyses the contents of the file that is downloaded from the Internet.
Furthermore, administrators have the option to specify any file type of their choice that can be blocked by extension only.
